«Historian» is a scientific and theoretical journal of the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography. A. Donisha of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, which publishes materials from a series of historical sciences, is published in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Press and Mass Media».

-Operational coverage of the results of research activities of scientists of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as scientists from neighboring and far abroad countries in the following branches of science: history, historiography, archeology, ethnography, anthropology, source studies, numismatics, cultural history, history of literature, history of philosophy and history of religion.

- development of international cooperation in the field of history, archeology and ethnography;

- enabling researchers to publish the results of scientific research;

- coverage of current problems and promising areas of historical sciences;

- search for new knowledge for the spiritual and social development of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan as a whole and its regions;

- propaganda of the achievements of scientific research activities of scientists of the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography named after A. Donish of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as researchers from other universities and educational and scientific institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan.

- the editorial board of the journal accepts for consideration and publication of scientific articles, reviews, scientific reviews, reviews containing scientific ideas, results and achievements of fundamental theoretical and applied research in the following branches of historical science for consideration and publication: history, historiography, archeology , ethnography, anthropology, source studies, numismatics, cultural history, history of literature, history of philosophy and history of religion;

- the decision to publish or refuse to publish is made on the basis of the relevance, novelty and scientific significance of the submitted materials;

- the authors (co-authors) bear full responsibility for the accuracy of the scientific information provided and all data contained in articles, reviews, reviews and reviews;

- all materials submitted to the editorial board of the journal are subject to mandatory verification on the website antiplagiat.ru, after which the editorial board notifies the authors (co-authors) of the results of the evaluation of the manuscript and informs about the acceptance of the material for further reviewing or refusal to review;

- articles, reviews, reviews and reviews received by the editorial office, in case of a positive answer after checking on the antiplagiat.ru website, are sent for internal review for the purpose of their expert assessment by leading experts in the relevant field of science;

- Articles admitted for internal review must be prepared in full compliance with the requirements for publications, which are posted on the journal's website: www.institute-history.tj;

- if the review contains recommendations for correcting or revising the article, the reviewer's comments and suggestions (without specifying information about him) are sent to the author to revise and correct the material;

- the modified material is submitted by the author to the editorial office of the journal and is sent for re-reviewing together with the author's response to each point of comments;

- the editorial board has the right to edit articles without changing its scientific content. Spelling and stylistic errors are corrected by a proofreader without the consent of the author (s). If necessary, editing is agreed with the author (s);

- the version of the article, sent to the author (s) for revision, must be returned to the editorial office within the agreed period with corrections and changes made in electronic and printed form;

- Articles not accepted for publication are not returned to the author (s). In case of refusal to publish the material, the editorial staff sends a reasoned refusal to the author (s);

- the editorial board provides reviews upon request to the expert councils of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Russian Federation. 

Previously unpublished scientific articles, reviews, reviews, reviews corresponding to scientific specialties are accepted for publication in the journal: 07.00.02 - Russian history; 07.00.03 - general history (of the corresponding period); 07.00.06 - archeology; 07.00.07 - ethnography, ethnology and anthropology; 07.00.09 - historiography, source studies and methods of historical research; 07.00.10 - history of science and technology; 07.00.15 - history of international relations and foreign policy.

Authors must submit the following documents to the editors:

-the text of the article in Russian or English (if possible with translation into Russian), or in Tajik with the obligatory signature of the author (authors) on the printed version of the article;

-review of a doctor or candidate of sciences, certified in the personnel department at the place of his work;

- a certificate from the place of study (for graduate students and undergraduates).

- surname, name, patronymic of the author (authors) in full in Russian and English or Tajik, Russian and English;

- academic degree, academic title of the author (authors), name and code of the scientific specialty (according to the nomenclature) for which the research is being conducted, in Russian and English or Tajik, Russian and English;

- graduate students, applicants, teachers, doctoral students indicate the department and educational institution (undergraduates - the direction of training) in Russian and English or in Tajik, Russian and English;

- an indication of the position, place of work, city, country in Russian and English or in Tajik, Russian and English;

- E-mail;

- the title of the article in Russian and English or in Tajik, Russian and English (in capital letters, font Times New Roman 14 or Times New Roman tj 14, center alignment);

- annotation in Russian and English (font TNR 14, typeface - italics, width justification, from 100 to 250 words indicating the purpose and objectives of the research, a brief progress of work and the main conclusions containing scientific novelty);

- keywords in Russian and English (5-7 words or phrases of two or three words, separated by commas, font TNR 14, style - italic, width justification);

- the article must contain a list of used literature, indicating only the cited works. A list of references is given at the end of the article with the total volume of source pages. The list of used literature is drawn up in alphabetical order in accordance with GOST.

- references are given in brackets, which indicate the number of the source used according to the list of used literature, and then the cited page. 

Articles are accepted throughout the year. The editors reserve the right to select material, as well as the right to shorten the published article.

The text of the submitted manuscript is final and must be carefully checked and corrected. Articles sent to the editorial office in violation of the above requirements are not accepted for consideration.

Authors and reviewers are fully responsible for the competence and content of published materials.
